It is the only hotel within the walls of the São Jorge Castle. It is a palace of the eighteenth century with two floors, noble courtyard and gardens, built on the site of the old kitchens of the Royal Palace. It hasn’t many rooms, giving it a romantic and welcoming atmosphere. The furniture was specifically designed for the hotel, in a style "contemporary medieval".
