Rua de Oitavos
Quinta da Marinha2750-374 Cascais
On the edge of the Natural Park Sintra-Cascais, and just five minutes from the town of Cascais and Guincho Beach, The Oitavos is a luxury hotel with unique features. It is a large Y-shaped glass structure, built so that all 142 rooms have views of the sea and the Oitavos Dunes golf course, ranked among the 100 best in the world.
With over 1800 square meters, the lobby hosts the reception, the leisure areas, the Ipsylon Restaurant & Bar, and the access to the outdoor pool (there is also an indoor, close to the spa, with treatments of Irish brand Voya). Miguel Champalimaud, grandson of Carlos Montez Champalimaud, the man who dreamed Quinta da Marinha as one of the most exclusive refuges in Portugal, meant that the idea of space was present throughout the hotel. And so it is. Lots of space, light, transparencies, glazed corridors and minimalist decor, between white, grey and blue mark the indoor and outdoor environments, carrying our gaze to the Atlantic blue line on the horizon.
