Classified by Unesco as World Heritage, this wonderful monument to Tomar belonged to the Knights Templar. Founded in 1160, the Convent of Christ still preserves memories of these monks and knights to which the Order of Christ was heir, thus playing an important role in the Portuguese Discoveries.
