It is the only member of the Design Hotels chain in Lisbon and the first boutique hotel in Alfama, the most authentic district of the city, almost next to the Cathedral and on the way to the São Jorge Castle. Maintaining the nineteenth century building's facade and with an entrance through a courtyard, the hotel has no reception, but a beautiful and cosy living room. It has 42 rooms, where the spaces design is perfectly combined with the past of the structure that surrounds them. All this without mentioning the pool (small but seductive) and the Terrace & Wine Bar (open to public), whose view of the Tagus River and the hill of Alfama is irresistible.
