It features various architectural styles - Gothic, Mudejar and Manueline – and was widely used in the Middle Ages as the Court’s refuge during the summer months and as hunting grounds. It is recognized from a distance by the profile of the two monumental conical kitchens chimneys. Inside, beautiful rooms full of history, a unique collection of Hispanic-Moorish tiles and a decorative arts collection with pieces from the sixteenth century up to the eighteenth century.
