Built in 1716, Quinta do Vallado is one of the oldest and most famous estates of the Douro Valley. It belonged to the legendary Dona Antonia Adelaide Ferreira and remains to this day in the hands of her descendants. We recommend a visit to the cellar and shop. It also features a Wine Hotel, divided between the manor house of “The Ferreirinha” and a building of contemporary architecture. It was highlighted by the magazine Wallpaper and has won awards for "Best Wine Tourism".
